COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Thursday the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its postseason All-Conference Teams and major award winners for men's soccer as Colorado School of Mines duo of Charlie Newberry and Lucas Taitt were named Honorable Mention All-RMAC for their performances this fall.

Newberry had a breakout 2025 in his second season at Mines, leading the team in scoring with four goals from his center back spot and proving especially proficient in the set piece game. He also added two assists for 10 points, tied for the most on the team. Newberry started 12 of 16 matches this fall for the Orediggers and led all field players with 1,188 minutes played. His four goals are the most in a season by a primary defensive player since Greyson Adams scored three times in the 2021 season.

Taitt had about as good of a debut season as any Oredigger recent memory. The redshirt freshman scored once and led the team with eight assists and tied with Newberry for the team lead in points with 10. His eight assists are tied for second in the RMAC and are the most by an Oredigger since 2022 when current assistant Lucas King also recorded eight assists. Taitt started 11 times in 16 matches for 997 minutes and ranked fifth on the team among field players in minutes played this fall.

For the second time in the last three seasons, Fort Lewis landed both the Offensive Player and Freshman of the Year Awards as Alessio Andreottola took home both honors while also extending FLC's run of FOTY awards three straight seasons. UCCS' Luke Noahmeshie was named Defensive Player of the Year while MSU Denver rounded out the major awards with Goalkeeper of the Year Nick McNeil and Coach of the Year Nick Kirchoff.
