THE CHAMPS ARE HERE
The Orediggers won the outright RMAC championship Feb. 12 with their 29-15 win over Simon Fraser, capping off a perfect 7-0 RMAC dual schedule. It marks the third title for the Orediggers, all coming since 2019 under Head Coach Austin DeVoe.

LAST YEAR AT REGIONALS
Mines finished fifth at the 2024 NCAA Super Region VI Championships in Pueblo, led by 149-pound champion Cody Thompson. Mines placed eight of its 10 entrants as Jakob Smith (157) and Laith Ibrahim (285) were fourth-place finishers, Grayston DiBlasi (141), Tristin David (165), and Wyatt Reisz (174) won their final matches to finish fifth, and Christian Lopez (125), Mason Diel (184), and Ryan Cody (197) finished sixth.

IN THE POLLS
Mines continues to be well-represented in the latest NWCA poll, with the Orediggers ranked #23 this week. Four Orediggers hold individual rankings with #7 Christian Lopez (125), #9 Grayston DiBlasi (141), #11 Wyatt Reisz (174), and #11 Ryan Cody (197).

DIBLASI CLIMBS ALL-TIME WINS, FALLS LISTS
Grayston DiBlasi now stands at 93-26 in his career which has him third all-time at Mines in victories. Ahead of DiBlasi are the only two Orediggers to reach the century mark, Glen Frank (126) and Duane Maue (113), as DiBlasi is trying to be the first Oredigger to reach the century mark since Frank did it in 1993. DiBlasi is also tied for fifth on the career falls list with 25.

AT THE HELM
Head Coach Austin DeVoe is in his 12th season in charge of the Mines Wrestling program, having rebuilt the Orediggers into a national contender with three RMAC titles, eight all-Americans, and eight Academic All-Americans in his tenure. With 89 dual wins under his belt, Mines has had seven consecutive winning dual seasons including the only three double-digit win seasons in program history, including tying the program wins record in 2022-23 with an 11-2 record and surpassing it already in 2024-25. On the national stage, Mines has had team success as well including an 11th-place finish in 2022 which was the program's best finish since the 1990s.

LOOKING AHEAD
Oredigger qualifiers for nationals will wrestle March 14-15 at the NCAA Division II Championships in Indianapolis.
