GOLDEN, Colo. - Colorado School of Mines welcomed two individuals and two teams to the Harry D. Campbell Oredigger Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2022 induction Saturday night at Lockridge Arena.

The late Michael Lee (golf), Jackie Stabell (volleyball), the 1983 women's swimming & diving team, and the 1981 to 1984 men's swimming & diving teams were enshrined in the Hall in recognition of their outstanding achievements.

Lee was an all-American golfer for the Orediggers, graduating in 2014 after leading the Orediggers to their best team success in program history. Lee was ranked #1 in the nation, was a two-time RMAC Player of the Year, and led Mines to a national 11th-place finish and four NCAA super regional appearances.

Stabell was the volleyball program's first all-American, earning honors in 2011 and 2012. The RMAC Player and Academic Player of the Year as a senior, Stabell set the program kills record on the way to guiding the Orediggers to their first-ever RMAC regular-season championship and their deepest postseason run to that point.

The 1983 women's swimming & diving team was the first Mines women's team to win a conference championship, capturing the title just three years after forming the program. Under Hall of Fame coach Bob McCandless, the Orediggers won the RMAC Relays and the RMAC Championships that season to become the third women's team to enter the Hall.

The 1981 to 1984 men's swimming & diving teams had an unprecedented era of dominance in the pool, winning four consecutive RMAC titles under McCandless to cap a stretch of six titles in seven years starting from 1978. They were the first Mines team to fourpeat, setting a standard that would not be matched for 30 years until volleyball and women's soccer achieved it in the mid-2010s.

Established in 1996, the Harry D. Campbell Oredigger Hall of Fame is an effort to recognize former athletes, coaches, contributors, and others associated with Mines Athletics, as well as outstanding teams, individual accomplishments, and historic events. These inductees have distinguished themselves in the field of athletics, either by virtue of their performance in competition, or through their outstanding contributions on behalf of Mines Athletics. In 2022, the Hall was named in honor of 2004 inductee and longtime Oredigger supporter Harry D. Campbell. The inductees are enshrined in a permanent display on the upper concourse of Lockridge Arena.
