GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - More medals completed Colorado School of Mines' week at the 2022 RMAC Swimming & Diving Championships as the Orediggers came away with a pair of second-place team finishes.

The Mines women compiled 775.5 points and the men 874.5 for second. The Orediggers ended the meet with 21 total medals: two gold, eight silver, and 11 bronze. Meghan Slowey was the women's top point-scorer with 62 followed by Erin Taggart's 59, while the men were led by Ronan Lauinger's 56 team points with Harry Smith racking up 55. 

1650-FREESTYLE
Meghan Slowey's silver medal led Mines in the 1650-free as she swam an NCAA B time of 17:18.06. Isabella Bono snagged fourth in 17:51.19, while Hunter Stewart ended 14th in 18:55.49.

For the men, Scott Reeder led the way from the morning heat with a sixth-place 16:18.44, which was an NCAA B time, while Jaron O'Grady swam 16:31.69 for seventh and Josh Lee 16:50.89 for eighth in the evening.

100-FREESTYLE
Harry Smith claimed bronze in the 100-free with an NCAA B time of 45.12, with Garrett Waite seventh (45.58) and Braden Hunt eighth (46.25). Nick Delany took 10th in 46.27 with Joe Peak 14th in 47.34.

Maddie Finley was the lone Oredigger in the "A" final taking eighth in 53.25. Jorie Selig won the "B" final in 52.58, with Annie Osmun 12th in 53.00 and Maggie Wells 15th in 53.73.

200-BACKSTROKE
Sam Henney led the Mines women in a sixth-place 2:06.10, with Emma Neuroth finishing 11th in 2:10.79, Jess Engel 12th in 2:11.24, and Ava Burger 15th in 2:11.86. 

Braden Whitmarsh also took sixth for the men in 1:52.64 with Seth Krause touching eighth in 1:56.72. Out of the "B" final, Sam LaPrade finished 11th in 1:56.73.

200-BREASTSTROKE
Olivia Kisow added to the medal haul with bronze in the 200-breaststroke, swimming 2:25.18 a spot ahead of Taggart in 2:25.20 with Claire Lautman coming in sixth in 2:26.23. Rachel Fontan was 11th in 2:32.72.

The men had three swimmers in the "A" final with Jack Engler (2:05.04), Gavin Gilmore (2:05.50), and Ronan Lauinger (2:06.35) taking sixth through eighth. Delany was 10th in 2:07.98 and Charles Burroughs 12th in 2:08.38.

400-FREE RELAY
The women's 400-free relay ended the meet on the podium with a second-place 3:32.37 time. Selig, Osmun, Wells, and Finley combined for the relay led by Finley's 52.46 anchor leg.

The men took bronze as Smith, Delany, Hunt, and Waite swam 3:02.34. Waite brought it home in 45.33.
